Travel
Our early relationship and marriage was based a lot around traveling. We mostly enjoyed locations in North America and Europe. Every year, I went to New York or to New England because of my job. Sometimes, Pam would accompany me for the long weekends. Pam being a journalist put together the very first page of our β1st Europe Trip, March 1990β. The following is what she wrote:
βOn Sunday, March 11, 1990, this thoroughly American couple began an adventure that would last a lifetime. Already seasoned domestic travelers, we were soon to become European junkies.β
She pasted duplicate photos of our passports on the same page. After our first trip, we visited Europe 9 more times.
The album is incredible with photos, maps, hotel and restaurant receipts, postcards, menus and index cards with all kinds of detail. It is something I will treasure for the rest of my life.
